NFC Forum Tops 100 Member Organizations

SAN DIEGO, Calif., USA December 6, 2006— The NFC Forum, a non-profit industry association that advances the use of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, today announced that its membership roster has grown to over 100 organizations. Since its founding two years ago, the NFC Forum continues to attract market-leading organizations from around the world to its membership ranks, demonstrating growing momentum for the adoption and implementation of Near Field Communication technology. This week in San Diego, over 160 representatives from the 100+ member organizations are attending the Forum’s quarterly meeting, where they are convening to advance NFC initiatives and specifications in face-to-face working sessions.

NFC Forum Announces HP As Sponsor Member; Associate Membership Continues To Grow

WAKEFIELD, Mass., USA – July 24, 2006 – The NFC Forum, a non-profit industry association advancing the use of near field communication (NFC) technology, today announced its latest Sponsor member: HP. The Forum also added three Associate level members in July, bringing total membership to 85 organizations. The Forum recently unveiled its technology architecture, which will serve as the foundation for interoperable NFC products and services.

14 Organizations Join the NFC Forum as New Members, As Forum Activities Advance

WAKEFIELD, Mass., USA – June 28, 2006 – The NFC Forum, a non-profit industry association advancing the use of near field communication (NFC) technology, today announced that 14 new organizations have joined the Forum as members since February.
