The Smart Card Alliance is a not-for-profit, multi-industry association of over 200 member firms working to stimulate the understanding, adoption, and widespread application of smart card technology in North America and Latin America.

Dr Katina Michael is a senior member of the IEEE and is on the board for the IEEE Council on RFID. She is also the Associate Dean International at the University of Wollongong, Australia.
Paul began his career in the mobile phone industry working for Nokia and then moved to the GSMA. For over 20 years Paul has been involved in mobile device development.

Don Tait brings over seventeen years of market research experience to his role as principal analyst within the IHS Technology group. He specializes in the areas of smart cards, payment and banking cards, NFC, and contactless credentials.
Greg is the Chairman of APSCA, the business association for payments and identity, from secure smart chip-based applications to the latest digital security approaches. Greg is also President of ID4Africa, a multi-stakeholder movement that promotes the transparent and responsible adoption of digital identity in the service of development in Africa.
As part of ABI Research’s Digital Security research practice, Senior Analyst Phil Sealy’s research focuses on the primary markets for smart cards and secure ICs, reporting on new and emerging sectors, products groups and technologies. The Digital Security Practice focuses on end-to-end security research, from the silicon all the way up to cyber-based applications, analyzing technology trends as well as industry-specific implementation.
