If you are a payment, transport, or mobility decision maker this event is for you! The goal of the event is to share a vision for how NFC technology simplifies user engagement, enables new business models, and is actively generating results in the digital transformation of payments and mobility. As digital payments accelerate and mobility-as-a-service goes global, stakeholders need to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and what they mean for business.

Organized by the NFC Forum, VISIONFC is a public event series with the objective to educate people on the possibilities of NFC and create a place for innovators to share ideas, solutions and network with peers. The NFC Forum is uniquely well suited to host the VISIONFC event focused on payment and transport in Singapore because its membership brings leaders from the smartphone, payment network, semiconductor industries together with leading implementers in the payment industry, including POS manufacturers, and the mobility industry, from transit providers to automakers. By developing interoperable standards, implementing a widely adopted certification framework, and leading industry promotion activities, the NFC Forum brings together the best in contactless innovation across multiple industries.

Koichi Tagawa, Chairman, NFC Forum

Koichi Tagawa, Chairman, NFC Forum, has been with the organization since its founding in 2004. Initially serving as the Vice Chairman, Mr. Tagawa was elected as Chairman in 2008. During his leadership tenure, he has been an advocate for NFC market expansion, and has overseen the development of over 20 standards-based specifications which are the foundation for interoperable NFC-based solutions worldwide. Mr. Tagawa is the General Manager of Global Standards and Industry Relations at the C&I Center in Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP). DNP is the largest printing company, and the largest NFC solution provider, in Japan. Prior to DNP, Tagawa worked in the consumer electronics industry at Sony for 41 years. He now is devoted to promoting the expansion of NFC solution businesses worldwide by fusing his consumer-oriented background with his passion for NFC technology.

Preeti Ohri Khemani, MIT SIG Chair, NFC Forum

Preeti Ohri Khemani is Director of System Engineering at Infineon Technologies and has 15 years of experience in various leadership functions within the semiconductor industry. Preeti is currently leading the system engineering global team in Digital Security Solutions Division. Her team is responsible for system compliance, integration and validation services for Identification, Payment, Transport, IoT and Mobile Transaction applications based on contactless and dual-interface security controllers. Prior to joining Infineon in 2015, Preeti was working at NXP Semiconductors as program head of the project responsible for delivering NFC Java-card mobile transaction solutions to leading mobile OEMs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering from BIT, India.

Goh Say Yeow, Vice President, Head of Digital Security Solutions Asia Pacific, Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Goh Say Yeow is Vice President, heading the Digital Security Division in Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
As the Regional Center head for Asia Pacific, Mr Goh leads the Sales & Business Development, Marketing, Application Engineering & Centers of Competence teams for the Digital Security Solutions Division in Asia Pacific. His portfolio includes growing businesses for Smart Card Solutions & Embedded Security Solutions. The application segments under his purview includes Payment, Transport and Ticketing, Government ID, Mobile Security, embedded security for Smart Home, device authentication, Industrial, ICT, Cloud Security and Automotive Security industries. He has extensive experience in growing smartcard & IT Security businesses in his previous capacities & is highly regarded & renowned person on business advisory in the Smartcard industry.

Namrta Bangia, Director, Global Mass Transit

Namrta Bangia is Director at Global Mass Transit. She has nearly 14 years of global research experience in monitoring and analyzing transport infrastructure policies, projects and trends. At Global Mass Transit, she is responsible for delivering in-depth multi-client and custom research studies, providing expert sector/industry analysis; and developing marketing and business strategies.
Namrta has authored nearly 50 research reports on infrastructure segments including metro rail, light rail, fare collection systems, buses and BRT systems, rail rolling stock, high speed rail, public-private partnerships, etc. She has also written extensively in the print media and interviewed state heads, CEOs, etc. Namrta has also developed content for and moderated conferences on topics such as smart cities, transit ticketing & fare collection, asset management, urban rail, clean buses, e-mobility, etc to name a few.

Sadiq Mohammed, Vice President, EMV and Digital Devices, Mastercard

Sadiq Mohammed leads a global team responsible for product innovation and development of Mastercard Urban Mobility Solutions. Sadiq’s responsibilities include definition of rules, policies, requirements and the development of products & solutions for Urban Mobility. He is actively engaged with industry groups and various solution providers to drive adoption of EMV payments in transportation systems.

Matthew Bright is the head of technical marketing at the Thin Film Electronics NFC Innovation Center in San Jose, California. Following a vision of ‘building intelligence into everyday things’, he leads customer and partner engagement for a new generation of NFC tags and RF anti-shoplifting labels based on highly scalable printed electronics technology. Matthew holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and has extensive experience in semiconductor marketing for mobile applications, including Flash memory, multi-chip modules, and short-range wireless communications.
