NFC Forum Elects Vice Chairmen For Board Of Directors
Preeti Ohri Khemani With Infineon And Fabrice Punch From NXP Assume Leadership Roles as Vice Chairmen Of The NFC Forum Board Of Directors
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – August 20, 2019 – The NFC Forum, the global standards and advocacy association for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, announced today the election of two Vice Chairmen to its Board of Directors: Preeti Ohri Khemani from Infineon Technologies Austria AG and Fabrice Punch from NXP Semiconductors.
Khemani and Punch are experienced and influential leaders in the NFC technology industry and have served as Board Members on the NFC Forum’s Board of Directors. In their expanded roles as Vice Chairman they will help advance the NFC Forum’s mission and actively contribute to further increase the adoption of NFC technology worldwide.
Khemani serves as Director of Systems Engineering for the Digital Security Solutions Division at Infineon and has over 15 years of experience defining and developing secure NFC devices. Punch has two decades of industry experience in Marketing and Business Development and is the Marketing Director for PL NFC Infrastructure and Consumer at NXP Semiconductors.

Along with serving on the NFC Forum Board of Directors, Khemani and Punch have been actively involved in a number of NFC Forum initiatives including the Internet-of-Things and the Mobility, Identity and Transportation Special Interest Groups along with the NFC Forum’s Marketing Roundtable.
