NFC Forum’s Hunter Named Finalist for Women in IT “Business Leader of the Year” Award

    WAKEFIELD, Mass., March 13, 2018 – The NFC Forum announced today that its Executive Director, Paula Hunter, was selected as a finalist for The Women in IT Awards in the Business Leader of the Year Award category. The Women in IT Awards is the technology world’s most prominent and influential diversity program. Winners will be announced at The Women in IT Awards ceremony scheduled for March 22, 2018 at Gotham Hall, New York, NY. The NFC Forum is the world’s leading standards and advocacy association for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

    Hunter was nominated for the Women in IT’s Business Leader of the Year Award for leading the NFC Forum to success in a variety of key sectors within the IT industry including the growing use of NFC technology in public transportation, Internet of Things, retail and payment and automotive markets.
