After announcing a partnership between the NFC Forum and the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI), future devices with NFC may gain the ability to wirelessly charge the active stylus. By integrating the NFC Forum’s Wireless Charging Specification (WLC) into devices that comply with the USI standard, new features will become possible.
