NFC Forum Approves Wireless Charging Specification

The NFC Forum, an international standardization company for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, has approved the Wireless Charging Specification (WLC). This specification allows you to wirelessly charge small consumer and battery-powered IoT devices using your smartphone or another NFC-enabled device. The transmitted power can reach 1 W.
