NDPP Reader Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the NDPP Reader mobile application (the “Service”) operated by NFC Forum, Inc. (“we”, “our”, “us”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using the [App Name] application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

NFC Tag Reading: Our app allows users to read and interact with specially encoded Near Field Communication (NFC) tags. The app is intended for personal and non-commercial use only. 3. User Responsibilities

NFC Tag Usage

You are responsible for the proper use of the NFC tag reader. You must ensure that the NFC tags you read do not contain malicious content, unauthorized data, or violate any third-party rights. We are not responsible for any harm or damage that may result from reading or interacting with NFC tags.

Permission and Consent

You agree to use the NFC tag reader only in situations where you have appropriate permission and consent to read the tags. Unauthorized use of NFC tags is strictly prohibited.

All content, features, and functionality provided as part of the Service, including but not limited to the software, text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by NFC Forum and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our app may include links to third-party websites or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access such websites at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the NFC Forum shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the NFC Forum and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. By continuing to use the Service after any changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
