A Look Back at Mobile World Congress 2017
Just back from a busy and productive member meeting and have had some time to reflect on how strong NFC technology has been showing this year. Barcelona in late winter is synonymous with MWC 2017 — or Mobile World Congress 2017, and it was great to see all the new NFC offerings being launched there. MWC is the world’s biggest and best mobile industry event comprising a massive exhibition, conferences, networking opportunities, partner programs and awards.

MWC 2017 Innovation Theme Supported and Highlighted by NFC
This year, the theme at MWC 2017 was how mobile is the force behind every emerging innovation. With the amount of near field communication (NFC) news issued during MWC 2017 it is clear that the MWC sub-theme in Barcelona could have been NFC technology innovation.

No one can argue that near field communication (NFC is gaining traction and is being adopted by consumers.
