Entries to the Innovation Awards 2024 are now open
NFC Forum is welcoming submissions for our bi-annual Innovation Awards, recognizing breakthrough products that showcase outstanding implementations and the most innovative uses of NFC products, services and applications. Applications are open until July 30th and winners will be announced live at the NFC Forum European Member Meeting the week commencing October 7th in Nice, France.
The free award program is open to member and non-member companies, or systems integrators, agencies, and media companies submitting on behalf of their clients. Submissions must demonstrate how the use of NFC contactless technology has improved people’s lives and will be judged on the following criteria:
Innovation: How is this unique or innovative? Does it positively impact the user experience and the future of the industry using NFC technology?
Benefits and Competition: What kind of benefits does this product, service, or experience deliver to the end user? How does it compare to competitors if competition exists?
User experience and NFC impact: How does this product deliver a simple, intuitive, or transformative user experience? How central is NFC to the user experience and solution?
Results: Do the metrics shared by the entrant demonstrate positive results and a progressive trajectory for this product, service, or experience?
The top ten nominees will be determined by a selected group of judges who are well-versed in NFC technology and will be announced on August 23rd. For the first time, NFC Forum is inviting its community to provide their input on the winners of the Innovation Awards, with the public voting period taking place between August 30th – September 20th.
Winners will be announced the week commencing October 7th at the NFC Forum European Member Meeting in Nice, France and will receive global visibility, featured placement on the NFC Forum website, two free registrations to an NFC Forum Member Meeting and – of course – bragging rights!
