NFC Forum Plugfest taking place at AT4 wireless in Herndon, VA (USA)

Herndon, VA., USA – November 4, 2013 – The NFC Forum is holding a Plugfest – an interoperability testing event – in Herndon, Virginia (USA), November 4-8, 2013. AT4 wireless, as one of the leading certification testing organizations in NFC technology worldwide, has been selected to host this meeting.

The five-day format offers NFC Forum members the opportunity for device-to-device interoperability testing and end-to-end data sharing, as well as access to a “library” of various NFC Forum tags and NFC Forum devices. There will also be a special session focused on validation of the NFC Forum’s Connection Handover 1.3 Candidate Specification. Representatives of 16 NFC Forum member companies, from all regions of the globe, are participating in the plugfest.

These interoperability testing meetings complement the NFC Forum’s Certification Program, and they are a cornerstone of industry cooperation and the development of NFC-enabled products and services.

AT4 wireless has more than 10 years of experience in successfully organizing and hosting multiple interoperability and plugfest events for several technologies in co-operation with different global organizations. NFC Forum members now have the opportunity to participate in this five-day session.
